Paul E. Cobb Jr., CPAPaul is an original Shareholder of Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Company, P.A. and served as Managing Partner from July of 1975 through December of 2004. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and President of the firm. After graduating from Elon University in 1966, he became a Certified Public Accountant in 1973. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the North Carolina Association of CPA's. He received the Certificate of Educational Achievement for Advanced Business Valuation from the AICPA and currently is a member of the Tax Committee for the North Carolina Association of CPA's. Paul also serves as a member of the Accounting Advisory Board to the Accounting and Finance Department of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business at Elon University. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Graham Branch of Mid-Carolina Bank where he is an Audit Committee Member.Paul is an active member of the community and currently serves as Secretary of the City of Burlington Planning and Zoning Board. He is a Charter Member and Chairman of Crime Stoppers of Alamance County. He has served as Board Member and Treasurer of the Burlington-Alamance Area Chamber of Commerce. His dedication to volunteer services includes 30 years of service as a Paramedic with the Alamance County Rescue Unit where he served several terms as President of the Board and Captain. Paul is Secretary of the Graham Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow. He is a lifelong member of Macedonia Lutheran Church where is serves as Treasurer of the General Fund, Executive Committee Member and Treasurer of the Scholarship Committee. Paul is an advocate for the elderly and has served for over 20 years as Board Member of Twin Lakes Center, a not for profit Lutheran Retirement Center. He currently serves as a member of Twin Lakes Center Executive Committee, Audit Committee and is Treasurer for the Board of Directors. He also serves as Treasurer and Board Member of the Twin Lakes Community Trust. |
